How to get an account and CPU time on the Notur systems.

To work on a Notur system you must have an account and you must have been granted CPU time on the system. There are two ways to achieve this:

Research Council Quota

Everybody working for an institution financed by the Ministry of Education and Research, or participate in research projects financed by the Research Council of Norway, may apply for an account and a CPU quota from the Research Councils share of the Notur systems.

If you want to apply for a Research Council account/quota please use this form.

Local Quota

“Local users”, i.e. users from (or associated with) the university hosting a system, can apply for an account and a quota from the local share of that system.

If you wan to apply for such a quota please pick the appropriate site:

Please note that most users who are allowed to apply for a local quota on a system,  also are allowed to apply for a quota from the Research Council – at  the same time!
