&lt;p&gt;Njord.hpc.ntnu.no will continue its operation to the end of January.&amp;nbsp; The planned replacement of njord in January has been delayed by one month. Njord will go offline in the first week of February, but come back online as a downsized system in the second week of February. It will be possible to login on njord for accessing data and home areas to the end of March 2012.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;njord.hpc.ntnu.no will be decommisioned by the end of December 2011. Last day of operation is 31 December 2011. All NOTUR-users must copy their data to another system. Njord will not be accessible after 31 December.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. iRODS 3.0 is installed on norstore-trd and norstore-osl.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. iRODS client icommands are implemented in the module system on norstore-trd:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; module load irods.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. A new irods icommand, &lt;strong&gt;igroupadmin,&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; is implemented on norstore-trd. (Note! This command is not part of the standard irods icommands).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This command is only for the group administrators. It is for adding new users to a group and list users in a group.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;DOWNTIME!!&lt;br /&gt;On Thursday 18th of August, there will be one hour downtime from 15:00-16-00 due to firmware upgrade of some network equipment which connects Norstore-trd to the out side world.&lt;/p&gt;

                   <content type="html">SSL is updated to  version OpenSSL 0.9.8m-fips 25 Feb 2010, the SSH server is updated to OpenSSH 5.4p1 and the client side is updated to HPN-SSH 5.8p1-13v11.

&lt;p&gt;Norstore-trd loginservers and services will be down on Thursday 7th of April 2011&lt;br /&gt;between 18:00 and 20:00.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;affected servers are:&lt;br /&gt;norstore-trd-app0.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;norstore-trd-app1.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;norstore-trd-bio0.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;norstore-trd-bio1.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;genetools.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;biogw-db.hpc.ntnu.no&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This will also affect ALL services connected to these servers:&lt;br /&gt;mysql&lt;br /&gt;virtuoso&lt;br /&gt;http&lt;br /&gt;tomcat&lt;br /&gt;thredds&lt;br /&gt;svn&lt;br /&gt;indefero&lt;/p&gt;
