NCO (netCDF Operators) version 4.0.5 is installed on stallo. it is based on netcdf 4.1.1 and hdf5 1.8.5-p1 you load the module using the command: module load nco
The netCDF Operators (NCO) are a suite of standalone, command-line programs like, e.g., ls or mkdir. Each operator takes netCDF files as input, then operates (e.g., derives new data, averages, hyperslabs, manipulates metadata) and produces a netCDF output file. NCO primarily aids manipulation and analysis of gridded scientific data.
When you load the modulem netcdf 4.1.1 and hdf5 1.8.5-p1 is loaded automatic.
